About Me

Throughout my internships and full-time roles, the one constant thread has been my passion for storytelling and using communications to connect people. I believe that being able to translate technical research, policy, and legal actions for lay people is an important part of what helps nonprofits thrive. In my various positions, I have helped with all aspects of communications — from social media strategy, to press releases, to email newsletters, to compelling storytelling, and to creating engaging website content. I’m an adaptable hard-working leader that finds fulfillment in mission-focused work and creating results.

I graduated in April 2024 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in political science and a minor in linguistics, and I use my political science degree as a base understanding of U.S. systems to inform my work in the nonprofit space. At Pitt, I held multiple leadership positions and discovered passions I didn’t know I had, including advocating for disability rights and LGBTQ+ safety.
